Kids' event tips for week 12
What kid-friendly activities can be found in Helsinki? Where to go with small children on weekends? What to do on a rainy day? Small Helsinki's weekly series searches for activity tips and recommends child-friendly places in Helsinki and the surrounding area. The target audience of the website is pre-school-aged children and families with children.
Where to go this week -article continues with a slightly modified concept. The article lists the week's event highlights and the most interesting activity tips for the week. Also included are highlights from Small Helsinki's new articles, news, and a new "Have you ever visited" place that changes weekly. The site's future is still open, but we'll continue with this concept for spring.

The group is also a place to share news and information related to family life. You can join the group here.
Are you following Small Helsinki on Facebook? The page has lots of current event tips, discussions and other highlights related to family life in Helsinki. Facebook also has its own group for the city's infant families, Baby's Helsinki.

Helsinki Day production grant application is now open! This year, the Helsinki Day panel includes a city resident who is especially enthusiastic about children's events, so now is the time to apply for production grants for children's events. More information from Helsinki Day's website.
This week's "Have you ever visited" place is Kino Regina cinema on the 1st floor of the Central Library Oodi. Regina's program also includes film screenings for children: classics from past years and sing-along versions of children's films. More information about Kino Regina's children's film offerings can be found on Regina's own website.

Small Helsinki as an app on your phone!
Small Helsinki now also works as a PWA app. You can install Small Helsinki on your Android or iPhone by simply opening the page in a Chrome or Safari browser and selecting Add to home screen from the share button. A PWA app differs from a traditional app in that it doesn't need to be installed separately from the App Store or similar. In practice, the content is exactly the same as in a browser, but theoretically loads faster.
Small Helsinki does not require registration to work now, and never will.
