Sanna Pelliccioni: Happiness is Being! At Kanneltalon Gallery (Klaneettitie 5) from March 1-27, 2023. Happiness is Being! is a cheerful exhibition and play space based on Sanna Pelliccioni's popular Onni-boy book series. Free admission, open according to Kanneltalon hours.
Square / Cube Exhibition at Annantalo from Oct 20, 2022 - March 4, 2023. Is a square too rigid or a cube too angular? What if you got them moving? Annantalo's autumn exhibition presents and at the same time doesn't present – it opens the door to an abstract world!

Albertin Living Room, a family meeting place open to all at Albertinkatu 33, is open on Mondays from 9:30am-2pm (International Mondays).
Dance and Play Workshops for toddlers (1-3 years) and their parents at Cais Cultural Center (Kaikukatu 4 B) in the Maissi room on Monday at 10am and 11am. The Dance and Play workshop inspires and guides Helsinki parents and children to make and experience dance together. You can participate in the instruction whenever it suits you – at all sessions or just some. Choose a time that works for you and arrive on time. No advance registration required; spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Space for 12 first arrivals. Free admission.
Art Clinic: Mirror Laboratory
Play with mirrors, discover stories and tales where mirrors play a role, and make your own mirrors to take home. Art Clinic for ages 3-5 at Annantalo (Annankatu 30) on Mondays at 10am and 12:30pm. Younger family members, babies and toddlers can also participate and experience the art clinic atmosphere. Free admission.
Family Fun Sessions at Tapanil Primary School (Veljestenpiha 2) on Mondays from 5pm-6:30pm during Jan 9 - Apr 24, 2023. Free admission. Family Fun Sessions provide space for children under school age and their parents to move together on their own initiative and free of charge.

Workshop theme: Disappearing Salt Painting. Create temporary salt paintings on a black background. The process is important, enjoying how the painting is created and changes until it is destroyed. Then you can start over again! Free admission.

Make Art Stuff: Spitting Girl Workshop at Annantalo Art Class 3 on Wednesday from 5pm-7pm. Visual artist Kim Simonsson has created a porcelain sculpture called Spitting Girl. We don't have porcelain available but we'll make our own small sculptures from white plaster strips. Make Art Stuff workshops inspire and guide 6-10-year-old Helsinki children and their adults to make and experience art together. Free admission.

Vantaa: Little Art Mornings at Children's Cultural Center Pessi (Tikkurila) on Friday at 9:30am and 10:30am.
For babies and parents! Maunula Baby Cinema on Friday at 10am.
February's Maunula Baby Cinema film is Little Women, directed by Greta Gerwig in 2019.
Maunula House youth center living room on the 2nd floor (Metsäpurontie 4) transforms into a movie theater for babies and parents. Movie screenings are baby-friendly, but films are selected to suit adult taste. Movie sounds are quieter than normal and the space has dim lighting. The space has a water point and microwave to make baby care easier, plus a changing table in Maunula House's lobby. Coffee and tea are available. The living room has sofas, armchairs, and a large mat on the floor. You can also bring your own mat for added comfort. You can also bring a carrier/car seat where your baby can sleep during the movie. Free admission.
Art Hall's Birthday – the museum has free admission all day from 11am-8pm. Cake served from 5pm onwards.
