Saturday, May 6, 2023 Play Café opens at Tuomelan School playground (Vantaa).
At Tuomelan School playground you'll find swings and a climbing structure as well as a large ball field. A few hundred meters away there's also a nice play park. And if you'd like to venture a bit into the forest, there's a delightful nature trail starting right near the school, Soltorpin trail, which is about a kilometer long and suitable for the whole family including little ones.


Exhibition tips for children

Farewell to the old exhibition. The Päivälehti Museum is being renovated this year. The current permanent exhibition from 2015 is on display until Wednesday May 3, 2023, after which the museum will close for renovation work. The renovated museum will open in November 2023.

Haltialan farm's sheep barn is open until the move to outdoor pasture on Tuesdays and Thursdays 9am-12pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am-1pm.

Art for Toddlers Workshop (Open Studio for Toddlers Workshops) at Culture Center Caisa (Kaikukatu 4 B) on Tuesdays 1:30pm-3:30pm. Workshops are suitable for children aged 1.5-3 years with their own adult. No pre-registration required, free admission. You can attend the workshops for the full duration or just drop in for a bit.

Demonstration for causes important to you at Parliament House on Friday 2pm-3pm. A 12-year-old girl is organizing a demonstration with a few friends for causes important to her. Come if you want to participate and show your support for something important to you. The cause can be anything, for example environmental protection issues, opposition to war, and equality among people.
