At Vuotalo's Easter event on Saturday 24.3.2018 from 11 onwards, families celebrate Easter together. The program includes paint dips for the youngest family members, birch twig and bunny ear workshops, and children's music concerts in Finnish and Swedish (tickets 6 €). Puppet Theatre Sampo
Puppet Theatre Sampo's programs feature MEOW! Easter at the puppet theatre -performance running until Easter, which showcases Easter-related folk traditions and beliefs in a lively puppet theatre cavalcade. SIPOO: At Sipoo Gumbostrand Konst & Form opened on 23.3.2018 American animation designer Phil Mendez’s fairy tale exhibition FUN (Finnish Unknown Nature). Children are especially welcome to the exhibition’s fairy tale world. Phil Mendez’s FUN is on display at the art center located in Sipoo’s archipelago landscape until 27.5.2018. Free admission. Winter Garden Easter
The Winter Garden fills with the splendor of Easter flowers and Easter decorations and invites everyone to enjoy the spring atmosphere. The Winter Garden is open during Easter holidays from 12-16 (full Easter week hours below). Entry to the Winter Garden is free. Stroller use in greenhouses can be challenging, so it's a good idea to bring a baby carrier for the smallest visitors. Puppet Theatre Sytkytin at Winter Garden
Following tradition, this year too at the Winter Garden people enjoy Sytkyt's performances for children during Easter. This year a musical puppet tale tells of Sampo boy's adventures to a mountain cave to meet Lapland's witch Hiidet in honor of Z. Topelius's 200th birth anniversary celebration year. Kaisaniemi Botanical Garden
The garden's greenhouses are closed for maintenance on Long Friday 30.3., but from Saturday to Monday from 10-16 you can enjoy the awakening of spring in the beautiful greenhouse. More information and ticket prices at the Botanical Garden's website.Easter at Haltiala
Haltiala farm's Easter includes almost a hundred newborn lambs, cows in pasture, pony rides and horseback riding (paid), sausage grilling opportunities and an excellent playground. Fallkulla farm animals during Easter
Fallkulla farm animals is also open during Easter daily from 10-15. The café Kilikuppila also serves daily from 10-15 (card payment possible, but it's good to bring cash). At Fallkulla you can see and pet many animals, admire chicks and sheep, horseback riding Mon-Fri from 10-13 and leading riding Fri-Su from 10-12. Entry to Fallkulla farm is free.
