Where to go this weekend?
The move took longer than expected and the computer charger disappeared into a sea of boxes. For this reason, the Where to go this week article was not published for the first time in the entire history of Little Helsinki. I apologize for this exceptional week and will do my best to return to the regular schedule as soon as possible. Music House Open Day welcomes music lovers of all ages to the Music House on Saturday 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Plenty of programs for the little ones too. Last weekend! Oil Tank 468 in Kruunuvuorenranta is open to the public again and this unique site and a new perspective on Helsinki can be explored once more this weekend. The oil tank is open on Saturday 6 p.m.-9 p.m. The event has been popular with children in previous years and children are welcome to freely explore, for example, the tank’s fascinating soundscapes. You can easily get to the place with strollers and you can also push them into the tank. Free admission. Read more on the event’s Facebook page.
Espoo: Book Adventure for Children – litterärt äventyr för barn at Hanasaari on Saturday 11 a.m.-2 p.m. The event is free to attend. From Koivusaari metro station (on the Helsinki side) there is free transport to Hanasaari. Read more on the cultural center’s website.
Espoo: Kutitus - Children’s Art Festival continues until Sunday at Espoo Cultural Center and Children’s Cultural Center Pikku-Aurora. The festival program features many wonderful performances. The event is partially paid. Read more on the festival’s own website.

Skidilä, a new child-friendly café in Annankatu, invites you to visit and spend a delicious pastry break!To the mushroom forest! An adventure in the mushroom forest is an experience. The capital region also has several easily accessible forest trails where you can search for mushrooms and other signs of autumn with your children.
An autumn trip to Lammassaari and Kuusiluoto is a perfect way to spend a sunny fall day.
Amos Rex’s opening rush is easing and TeamLab’s art experience can be seen for a few more months.
Suomenlinna is at its best in spring and fall. Go fly a kite or marvel at the waves.
