- Sunday's Traditional Sailing Ship Day begins partly already on Saturday, when traditional vessels sail the Tervasaari Barrel sailing race off Helsinki.
After the race, the vessels gather in the Sails Parade, which brings sailing ships under sail in a parade run to the South Harbor right after the race at around 4 p.m. Best spots for the public to watch the race finish and Sails Parade are at Kaivopuisto and Katajanokka shores. After the parade, vessels moor at South Harbor in the Cholera Pool and its surroundings for Sunday's traditional Sailing Ship Day.
