  • Go ice skating at an ice rink? Public skating sessions are available at several ice rinks.
  • Artificial ice rinks in the Helsinki metropolitan area, Tapiola Ice Garden and some other outdoor skating places are open!

  • Espoo: Friend Skating at Tapiola Ice Garden on Saturday 4-7 pm. The Friend Skating event combines ice skating and live music. Tapiola Symphony performs in the Tapiolahall with soloist Saara Aalto and conductor Marjo Riihimäki. The concert theme is film music. The concert will be streamed live to the Ice Garden where you can skate on a winter evening to the rhythm of the music. The ice rink atmosphere will be streamed inside the Cultural Center for the concert audience. The Ice Garden program begins at 4 pm with skating demonstrations. After the skating demonstrations (around 4:30 pm), the skating rink is open to everyone. Free admission.
  • Espoo: Aurora Winter Courtyard at Children's Culture Center Aurora on Saturday 5-8 pm. Free admission.

  • Sports Playtime at Sports Mill (Jauhokuja 3) in Myllypuro on Sunday 9-10:45 am. 
    Sports Playtime offers children under 9 and their families an opportunity to move in diverse ways and have fun. You can arrive on your own schedule, there is space for strollers in the lobby, and it's a good idea to bring your own lock for the changing room. Admission 3.60 € for adults, others 2.10 €, children under 9 free.
  • Traditional Winter Fun Event at Siltamäki Sports Park (Pallomäentie 14) on Sunday 10 am-1 pm. Free admission.
  • Espoo: Winter Forest Hike for Families in Villa Elfvik landscapes on Sunday 11 am-12:30 pm. Free admission.
