What to do or where to go with children? What kid-friendly activities can you find in Helsinki this week? Pienten Helsinki's weekly "Where to Go This Week" series searches for activity tips and suggests family-friendly events and activities in Helsinki and the surrounding area.
The cover image is from Vanhankaupunginkoski, where a statue created by Hannu Konttinen stands in memory of Katariina Saxelström, gazing toward the spring rapids of the rapids. The statue can be found next to Matinkaari pedestrian bridge, on the Arabia-side shore.

The Mighty Princess Pikkiriikki takes over the cinemas!
When Princess Pikkiriikki learns that her little brother, who lives in her mother's furniture, is about to move into Pikkiriikki's room, she's had enough. She gets an idea from Mrs. Jensen, her aunt, and uses her magic dog Makkar to banish the bossy adults to Himskatt.
Princess Pöjöläinen, who just moved next door, knows where the dream princess castle is located, and when the parents aren't around to stop them, they set off on an adventure together. However, the journey takes some unexpected turns when the princesses end up at a market where they enjoy a bouncy castle, search for a lost Makkar, and participate in a betting competition. The head princess also causes some headaches, and Pikkiriikki eventually has to look at things from a different perspective.
Go on an unforgettable adventure and book your movie tickets through this link!
Princess Pikkiriikki is suitable for all ages.
