Autumn break week theme tips can be found at Pienten Helsinki!

  • Helmet library events for children can be found on Helmet's events page.
  • Dance and Play workshop for toddlers (1–3 years) and their parents at Caisa on Monday at 10:15 am and 10:15 am. Free admission, max 12 participants on a first-come basis.
  • Albert's Lounge is open on Monday from 9:30 am–2 pm (International Monday).
  • Family library mornings on Puistokatu on Monday from 10 am–12:30 pm. A wonderful meeting place for children and parents in Kaipiopuisto that invites you to enjoy and play. Pienten Helsinki recommends! 
  • Children's autumn break sports event at Myllypuro Sports Center on Monday and Tuesday from 10 am–1 pm. Admission: children 2 € and adults 3.50 €. IMPORTANT! You need to bring your own padlock for the locked storage at the Sports Center!
  • Loru Playroom on Monday:

  • Aalto University Junior's Robotics Workshop at central library Oodi on Tuesday from 11 am–1 pm and 2–4 pm. Free admission.
  • Kindergarten Museum is open on Tuesdays from 12 pm–7 pm. Small admission fee.
    On Tuesday at the Kindergarten Museum you can bake pizza led by museum friends from 12–2 pm.

Suitable for preschool and school-aged children. There is a small admission fee to the museum, children under 18 are admitted free and museum cards are also accepted.

  • Sports Fun at Liikuntamylly (Jauhokuja 3) in Myllypuro on Sunday from 9–10:45 am. 
    Sports Fun offers children under 9 and their families the opportunity to move in many different ways and have fun. You can arrive on your own schedule, there's room for strollers in the hall and you should bring your own padlock for the locker. Admission fee for adults 3.50 €, others 2 €, free for children under 9.
  • Family Fun at Tapuli Sports Center on Sunday from 9–11 am. Admission fee 5 € / family.
