- Picking peas and flowers from the city's fields has started again! This year the flower field can be found in Tuomarinkylä along Vanha Tuusulantie. The pea fields are located next to the flower field and on the Haltiala side near Kuninkaantammentie. Please pick only the flowers and peas for your own use so there is enjoyment for as many people as possible. Sunflowers are still waiting to open.
- At Lasipalatsi square, around the Amos Rex museum mounds, Yinka Ilori's Transparent Happiness artwork opened on Midsummer's Eve, which emphasizes play, interaction and togetherness. You can bring your own basketball or table tennis rackets, as this artwork allows play. Gaming equipment can also be borrowed from Amos Rex museum for a deposit during museum hours. Free admission.
- Museum tickets to the Natural History Museum or entrance tickets to Korkeasaari Zoo can also be borrowed from the library! From Viiki Library you can borrow an entrance ticket to the Natural History Museum. From Kalasatama Library you can borrow an entrance ticket to Korkeasaari Zoo.

- Guard Parade: Finnish Armed Forces Military Musicians Band Friday at 12:20 pm. The 2025 summer guard parades start at Senate Square, where light music, formation marching and gun salutes are performed. The parade then continues in marching rhythm around Esplanade Park and to Helsinki's main guard. From the main guard, the parade goes along North Esplanade back to Senate Square, where the parade ends.
