From Tuesday onwards for about two weeks, from Mustikkamaa beach or Kruunuvuorenranta's public beach and Kruunuvuoren Lake's cliffs, you may be lucky enough to see the Norwegian crane ship HLV Uglen helping with the Crown Bridges construction work by lifting bridge structures into place. The crane ship's port location is Sompasaari, but you won't be able to get close to it due to the work site. A crane ship is a rare sight in Finland.

At the Children's Traffic City on Fridays and Sundays there is a family day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., where there is no instruction and no age limit—you just drive pedal cars with your own adult's supervision. Free admission.
Children's week: Pie workshops at Karjalaiset's summer cottage Villa Salmela (in Jollas) on Friday from 2-4 p.m. Free admission, advance registration is requested by July 25, 2023.
Baroque Picnic in Alppipuisto on Friday from 2-8 p.m. Free admission.
