Upcoming events and a hundred articles about children's culture

Updated March 16, 2018

What activities suitable for children can be found in Helsinki? Where to go with small children on weekends? What can you do on a rainy day? Little Helsinki’s weekly series searches for activity tips and recommends child-friendly places in Helsinki and the surrounding area. The website targets children under school age and families with children.

Little Helsinki’s Where to go this week articles also appear in 2018, published by Mondays at the latest, and suggest all sorts of activities happening in the city for families with children. The eleventh Where to go this week article of 2018 takes you to children’s museum and theater festivals, Helsinki Police Orchestra children’s concerts, sports activities, and folk music performances. Special mention to our neighboring city Espoo: The children’s museum festival program is amazing this year! In addition, there are currently several art exhibitions in Helsinki suitable for small children. Tips for current exhibitions at the end of the article.

This past week marked the completion of Little Helsinki’s one hundredth published article. To celebrate, the site published One hundred and one places in Helsinki article over the weekend. It takes you around Helsinki to places that appeal to children, are especially child-friendly, or are simply nice places to visit with little ones. 🎈
