Linja Playground in Kallio has been completely renovated in recent years, and the outdoor spaces have been designed with children of all ages in mind. The playground is divided into play areas suitable for different age groups; you’ll find activities ranging from areas for the very youngest to larger climbing structures suitable for school-aged children. The playground has a peaceful atmosphere, despite being located in a central location. Within walking distance of Hakaniemi metro station.

The Porthani Park playground near Kallio Library is a large and spacious park on the corner of two streets. The park is a good playground for older children, but has few suitable equipment for smaller children. Here you can wonder at the hustle and bustle of the city and hear the sounds of nearby fire engine sirens.
