The Bravo! festival for children's and young people's performing arts will be held online from 6.-14.3.2021. Online performances are free to watch.
The pandemic has cancelled many children's cultural events over the past year, but fortunately, a sure sign of spring—the international Bravo! festival for children's and young people's performing arts—will take place in March as usual. This year, Bravo's program will be enjoyed virtually, and thanks to this, you can enjoy the festival's offerings more widely from the comfort of your own living room. Only the live performances taking place in the festival's indoor venues will be moved from March to autumn as part of the cultural centers' programs.
The Bravo! festival is being held for the 11th time in collaboration with Finnish Centre for Children's Culture Suomen Assitej and the culture departments of the metropolitan municipalities. The 2021 festival focuses on domestic performing arts with international and digital flavors.
Pienten Helsinki has selected its own favorites from the spring 2021 Bravo! festival program. There's puppet theater, dance, contemporary circus, and participatory activities on offer. The complete festival program can be found on Bravo!'s website.
