Art Hall's Easter Family Day on 17.4.2017

Family Day workshop 12–4 p.m. In the non-stop art workshop for the whole family, you'll work inspired by Anu Pentik's exhibition and Easter. In the workshop, you'll sculpt colorful paradise birds and make glowing flower bouquets. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Winter Garden's Easter on 17.4.2017, 12-4 p.m.

In addition to beautiful Easter decorations, Puppet Theater Sytkyt presents the children's story "The Rooster Crows" at Winter Garden. On Easter Monday, Sytky's performances are at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. The Easter café is open on April 17 from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. in Winter Garden's indoor areas.

Strollers must be left outside, so for the very youngest, for example, a baby carrier is handy.

Easter Island at Korkeasaari on 14.-17.4.2017

Korkeasaari's Easter Island is a family event where, in addition to animals, you'll witness nature's spring awakening. At the Bear House, you'll plant your fingers and seeds in soil, craft chicks and bunnies, and spin the wheel of fortune for wild animals. In the Amazon area, animal face paintings are created, and at Borealia, you'll marvel at the signs of spring. During animal feeding times, you'll learn about different species and the happenings of Korkeasaari's animals. Korkeasaari is open on Easter every day 10 a.m.-6 p.m. (admission until 5 p.m.).

Korkeasaari has great spots for your own picnics, a grilling area, playgrounds, and accessible baby care facilities.

Renhdahl's farm animals visit Kaari 12-3 p.m. Lovely falabellas to pet in Kaari's central square. Find Raita the dog, rabbits, sheep/goats, and chickens at Kaari's front yard.

Easter events can also be found at, for example, Stockmann department store, Kaari Shopping Center, Itis shopping center, and Fazer.

Other worthwhile places to visit with little ones include, for example, the Natural History Museum, a spring adventure in Suomenlinna, and the Uutela outdoor recreation area and Kahvila Kampela.
